Week 6.2
Today in class we will explore the origins of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. King Ashoka, whose picture you see above, was a convert to Buddhism and played a pivotal role in spreading Buddhism throughout India. For next Tuesday (2/6), prepare a written paragraph on the Primary Source reading for the Indus River Valley civilization.
